Discovery Session
A Discovery Session is a 30 minute one-on-one preliminary meeting at your location and is an opportunity to ask questions to determine if Dynamic Kids Physical Therapy, Inc. is a good fit for your child’s unique needs. Some common points to discuss with your therapist include:
- What does a physical therapy session consist of?
- Is physical therapy something that I want to do?
- Is physical therapy right for my child?
- Is my child’s development on track?
- Your child’s difficulty with everyday tasks.
- Orthotics and medical equipment.
Your therapist will use this information to determine if physical therapy may be right for your family. They will also be able to answer questions addressing your child’s limitations as well as questions concerning potential to maximize your child’s level of function.
This session gives you the opportunity to get a better understanding of what may be going on with your child’s gross motor performance and if physical therapy will be beneficial. If at any time during that visit you feel as if therapy is the answer, you can move forward with an initial evaluation and we can begin helping your child reach their goals.
